The Atrium

The Atrium is a special and sacred place where children encounter God through wonder. The Atrium is a faith-based, Montessori-style classroom in which children enter into the mystery of God as revealed to us in the Good Shepherd. Children learn practical life activities (sweeping the floor, pouring water) which invite them into life in Christian community (caring for God’s creation, the mystery of baptism). Our teachers are trained in this sacred method. Through the teacher’s invitation, children are invited to wonder about the mystery of God and catch a glimpse of how He watches over all of us, as the shepherd watches over the sheep. There is no cost for your child to participate in this program. However, space is limited. Please contact the church office (206-284-0155) for registration information.
